From Concept to Craft: How Our Designs Come to Life

By Yvonne Haveland Evensen
Founder & Creative Director, MarbleMade Studio

Every piece we create begins with a concept—often inspired by architecture, balance, and sculptural form rather than fleeting trends.

Our design process starts with proportion. We focus on shapes that feel calm, grounded, and enduring. Once a design direction is established, materials are chosen carefully to complement the form rather than overpower it.

Production is a collaborative effort. We work with skilled craftsmen who understand the nature of marble and the precision it requires. Every cut, edge, and surface is considered. This is not mass production; it is controlled, intentional craftsmanship.

Throughout the process, quality control plays a central role. From the first sketches to the final inspection, each step is monitored to ensure the finished piece reflects our original vision.

The result is furniture that feels considered—designed to live with you for years, not seasons.
